Max is a handsome, approximately 5-year-old pit bull mix with a heart full of love and a spirit that shines despite his challenges. Partially deaf and blind, Max experiences the world a little differently—but once he trusts you, he becomes an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion.
Max is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on his vaccines. He also has allergies that are managed with an injection roughly every 6 weeks—an easy part of his routine that helps him stay comfortable and healthy.
Max needs an experienced handler who understands how to support a dog with special sensory needs. His ideal home is calm, patient, and consistent—one where he can feel safe and build trust at his own pace.
Though he may take a little time to warm up, Max bonds deeply and thrives in a structured, loving environment. He enjoys quiet time, gentle affection, and having a cozy crate or space of his own.
