This sweet boy is a testament to the loyalty of dogs. Scooby was discovered abandoned at a local Fairgrounds, and was ready to go home with anyone who paid him just a little attention. Despite the sad start to his story, he has remained happy-go-lucky and eager to please, winning over the staff here with his affectionate demeanor. He is estimated to be around 10-12 months old, and he's a true gentleman in the making - ready to "sit" when asked and gently take his treat. The staff have been so impressed with how well-behaved he is and good on leash, especially for such a young dog, and he is sure to be a quick learner for any further training. Scooby still has all the playful energy of a puppy, and he'd love a family who can help him continue to grow into the magnificent dog he's destined to be. Pets & Pals has been serving the community for over 20 years. We are a no-kill shelter. Our facility is extremely clean and well managed. The dogs are allowed to get out of their cages daily on a rotating basis to play in our outdoor areas complete with swimming pools!
