My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bacon – A Resilient Spirit with a Heart of Gold

Bacon is a sweet and spirited brown tabby whose love for life is as bold as his name! Rescued five years ago from a kill shelter after being dumped with a fractured hind leg, Bacon has never let his past—or his healed but slightly gimpy leg—hold him back. He runs, jumps, and plays with joy, showing everyone that a little limp can’t slow down a heart this big.

Bacon is a people cat through and through. He forms deep bonds with his humans and thrives in a calm, quiet home where someone is around most of the day—whether that’s a remote worker or a retired adult. Once he settles in (which may take a few weeks), he’ll be your shadow, always nearby and ready for attention. He loves being pet—especially around his nose, ears, and back end—and he’ll let you know exactly how much he appreciates it with soft purrs and affectionate rubs.

He’s not big on belly rubs or chin scratches, and he may take a little time to fully trust, but once he does, he becomes a devoted and gentle companion.

When it comes to other pets, Bacon prefers a mellow vibe. He’d do fine with a calm small dog and may accept one laid-back cat roommate—but no high-energy households for this guy. He values peace and routine, and he’ll thrive in a home that offers both.

Bacon is the kind of cat who may take a little time to bloom, but once he does, he’ll be the most loyal, loving presence in your life. If you’re looking for a sweet, soulful companion who enjoys the simple pleasures—a quiet home, gentle pets, and a cozy spot beside his favorite human—Bacon is ready to make your heart his forever home.

Come see him at the Witty Whisker Cat Cafe!
