My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Per her foster- Moxie - This little lady is very well named. Moxie is a very brave kitty approaching strangers and humans with ease. She co-exists very easily with her foster siblings and understands their wants and dislikes without much conflict. Moxie is never far from her foster parents and while not exactly fond of laps or a lot of attention, she likes to be close at all times. A bed next to a desk or a warm cubby in a cat tree and she will relax and show her thanks with leg rubs and chatter. Moxie has very deep opinions on touch and handling. A few scratches on the head is often all she desires and she will let you know if she is over stimulated and needs a break from touch. Nearly all of Moxie is bravado and drama instead of actual physical conflict, but she can very clear about needing some hands off time. With more and more time and love in her foster home, she is learning that the word 'No' is not a bad thing, and she will still be loved and adored on her own terms as she desires. This has helped her relax a lot in foster care. Moxie is a very vocal cat and adores her wet food and treats. The morning breakfast is her favorite time for affection and play. Her foster mom loves her eyes which are green in the center and brown on the outside which accentuates her varied facial expressions as she goes about her day. Moxie would do best in a home with adults only and at least one experienced kitty owner who can understand her moods and body language. She is slow to trust her humans to touch her but food treats go a long way to build that bond - and once established Moxie is a precious lady that will keep her humans entertained with her chatter for hours. Moxie is also a very independent cat who does not require a lot of supervision or attention throughout the day. She would do well home alone for hours without issue and does not require attention at night time to go about her business leaving her foster family to sleep peacefully. Let this little tabby shine her little heart out and she will light up the days with her character.
