Adoption fees range from $56-$86. This includes vaccines, flea/tick protection, health exam at local veterinary clinic, collar,leash, 50% discount on spay/neuter. Altering is done at the time of adoption, prior to the pet going home. There is an application for adoption, a 24 hour hold and an adoption contract.

Heritage Humane Society is a local, independent, open-admission shelter that receives more than 93% of its funding through private donations, and receives no funding from the Humane Society of the United States or the ASPCA.
