Meet Randy—a loyal and loving companion looking for his perfect home! Randy is an affectionate pup who adores his owners and thrives on quality time, whether it's exploring the outdoors on long walks or simply lounging on the couch for a lazy day. We met Randy 5 years ago when we adopted him from BARC.
This well-mannered boy is leash trained, crate trained, and potty trained, and he knows basic commands like sit and down. When taking food, he's incredibly gentle—always mindful and respectful. Randy enjoys trips to the dog park and loves to rough play, but he also knows how to hold his own. He’s protective by nature and once stepped in front of his owner when an off-leash dog charged toward them—his instincts make him a brave and devoted companion.
Randy has a big heart, but he does have some quirks. He can be apprehensive with strangers visiting his home and is particularly wary of men carrying tools (such as workers doing house repairs), though he tends to warm up over time. He gets along with the household cat, even sharing a bed—though their friendship blossomed after a slow and careful introduction.
Randy is not suited for a home with children or babies, as he does not feel comfortable around them and will growl or bark when they are near. However, he does well with teenagers and adults who can provide the structured environment he thrives in.
If you’re searching for a sweet, protective, and playful pup who will love you fiercely, Randy could be the perfect match. He’s eager for a loving home where he can continue to be the loyal companion he's always been. If you're interested in adopting Randy, reach out today! He’s ready to meet his new best friend.
