Blanca has sadly found herself back at the shelter. In her previous home, she was overwhelmed by fear and spent much of her time hiding. The stress took a toll, leading to litter box issues as she struggled to adjust.
Since coming back to the shelter, Blanca has been quiet and reserved, often keeping to herself as she tries to make sense of her surroundings. It's clear she's still feeling unsure and overwhelmed. But underneath that shyness is a sweet, affectionate cat just waiting to feel safe. Once Blanca begins to trust you, she blossoms-rubbing up against your leg, soaking in chin scratches, and happily flopping down beside you for more attention.

HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission.
It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
