Dolly Rae is more than ready for her fur-ever home! Just over a year old, this lovely girl was an amazing mama to her five precious nuggets and is now ready to be someone’s cherished companion.

Dolly Rae is a gentle, affectionate soul who gets along beautifully with everyone—both furry friends and humans alike. She’s a mellow, easygoing kitty who enjoys good food, prefers relaxing over playing with toys, and loves hanging out near your feet while you go about your day.

One of her sweetest moments says everything about her heart: during a storm, when her much-larger “uncle” Astro (a 20+ lb Maine Coon mix) was hiding in the closet, Dolly Rae quietly joined him and gently groomed his head to comfort him. From that day on, Astro has adored her—and honestly might choose her over all his other housemates. 💕

Dolly Rae is loving, calm, and full of quiet devotion. She’s the kind of cat who makes a house feel like home. If you’re looking for a sweet companion with a heart of gold, Dolly Rae is waiting just for you. 💖🐾

All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

The first step in adoption from Texas Rustlers is to fill out an application online: https://www.theguineapigrescue.com/adoption-application

2.
Approve Application

Our volunteer staff will process your application as soon as they are able and get in touch with you via email about your application.

3.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Once you're approved, we'll schedule an appointment on a Saturday between 9AM-5PM. You can meet and select your furry friend then!

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

A contract will be signed during your adoption appointment.

5.
Pay Fee

Our store cashier will process your adoption fee and help you select all supplies you may need. We accept cash, check or credit/debit card.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Bring a pet carrier or at least a towel lined laundry basket with you to transport your new friend home!

Additional adoption info

Guinea Pigs: Piggies are adopted in pairs, unless you are needing a single piggy for a piggy you already have.

Bunnies: Adopted as pairs or singles.

Both: Currently bonded pairs will NOT be split up.

We do require an approved application be on file prior to scheduling a visit
