My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm just an old lady that would like to spend the rest of her days taking it easy and getting lots of head scratches. I like to swat at a string now and then but zooming around at 3 am is no longer my thing. I am kind of set in my ways (independent) but I do like head scratches (did I mention that already??). I haven't been around a lot of people lately, so please give me time to get to know you and trust you. You see, my owner passed away and I had nowhere to go! Someone gave me food but I didn't have much human contact for awhile. I don't bother other kitties but will hiss at them if they get too close. My wish is for a nice quiet furever home where I can live out the rest of my days with security and love. I will need to be on special food for my older kidneys. The Wichita Animal Action League, or WAAL, is an all-volunteer, licensed rescue and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created in November 2013 to advocate for all abused, neglected and abandoned animals in the Wichita, Kansas area. WAAL is an action oriented group dedicated to rescuing animals in crisis.
