Meet Jenny – A Tiny Explorer with a Big Heart!

Jenny is an 8-week-old, 5-pound Beagle mix who came to Illinois with her mom and siblings on a recent Texas transport. Based on her 27-pound mom, Jenny is expected to grow into a small to medium-sized dog, likely in the 30–35 pound range. Now that she’s old enough, she’s officially on the hunt for her forever family!

Jenny is being fostered in a loving home with kids, her littermates, her mom, and three other dogs—so she’s already getting a great start on being a well-socialized pup.

This little dynamo is full of joyful prances, puppy zoomies, and boundless curiosity. Whether she’s chasing toys, exploring the yard, or simply enjoying a cuddle, Jenny does it all with tail wags and a happy heart.

Like all young puppies, Jenny will thrive with a patient family ready to guide her with positive reinforcement and lots of love.

Our standard adoption fee is $375 if paid by cash or check, or $385 if paid by credit card (which includes a $10 processing fee). This fee covers spay/neuter surgery when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, and microchipping.

In order to be considered for adoption, we require a fully completed application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with your entire family. Please note that submitting an application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee approval—it simply allows us to begin the review process.
