Syrup is a neutered American guinea pig who’s almost 4 years old and is searching for his forever home.
After being surrendered by his owner in July 2021 he been adopted and returned 2️⃣ times through no fault of his own. Syrup was adopted the first time April 2022, returned in July 2023, adopted again in September 2023, and returned July 2025. July is just NOT his lucky month AT ALL!
Through it all, Syrup has remained a calm and gentle soul. He would do well with either a spayed female or a male companion, and he’s ready to bond and build a lasting friendship.
Syrup deserves a family that will commit to him for the rest of his life. If you’re ready to give this sweet, resilient piggy a true forever home, he’s waiting to meet you.

SOS FL Animal Rescue is a non-profit rescue for rabbits and guinea pigs. We are animal lovers who are experienced rabbit and guinea pig owners. We both fostered small animals with other rescues for years before meeting each other and deciding to start our own rescue so that more rabbits and guinea pigs could be saved. We take in all rabbits and guinea pigs, including unwanted animals, seniors, and medical cases.
