Meet the Pet
This helps Sparkle Cat Rescue, Inc. with pet care costs.
Foster mama Lori says, “Meet our little gray foster girl, Hazel. She has made so much progress in the 6-weeks since we first got her. She likes to play with her foster brother, Charlie, and they can often be found doing zoomies together. She really likes all of the other cats, except she is scared of Mimi because Mimi still hisses at her (bad Mimi!). She sleeps quite a bit when she’s not playing and can often be found curled up in a drawer or under a bed. She’s still a little on the shy side and would probably do best with only 1 or 2 other friendly cats in the house. A young cat companion would be great to help her continue to come out of her shell and do zoomies with her. I’m not sure about small children or dogs as loud sudden movements still scare her a little. It’s very possible she continues to make progress in that area. She is very food motivated and knows exactly when it’s feeding time. She has a favorite bedroom in the house and when she hears you coming, she will come out and let you pet her. She will even flip over for a good old fashioned belly rub. Hazel just hit 4 lbs so she will be spayed very soon and then be available for adoption.”
