Balinese is a cat breed that many people have not heard about before. Long haired kittens were known to occur in Siamese litters in the early 1900"s. Since they didn't match the Siamese breed standard they were usually given away as pets. Two breeders begain working with these gorgeous cats to develop a separate breed. The Balinese name was chosen to reflect the graceful look of these cats when compared to Balinese dancers. They are less talkative then Siamese, have softer voices and are better for people with cat allergies.

These cats have a silky coat that does not mat because they are single coated with no undercoat. So combing them a few times a week keeps them looking great and reduces shedding. They have a plumed tail and sparkling deep blue eyes.

The owner of a Pedigreed Balinese Cattery has asked for our help in finding loving homes for some of her beautiful cats.

Munroe is a gorgeous seal point boy that is intelligent and wants to be included in all your activities. He enjoys playing with feathers, catnip toys and balls. He is still a kitten at heart. He is quite active but when tired will curl up in your lap for some cuddles and a nap. He loves being close to his humans and must be the only pet in your home. He is alert and very affectionate. He will definitely be a devoted family member and a wonderful companion. Are you the perfect home for this fellow? Munroe is a real treasure and will give you many years of joy and love.

Munroe is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

He currently lives with his foster family in Carmichael.
