Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet, curious, friendly
Meet Halloween Wizard, who is more commonly known as “Buddy” — a nickname that fits him perfectly. He’s incredibly friendly, sweet, and endlessly curious about the world around him. Got logs ready for the fire? Halloween Wizard wants to climb them and give them a good sniff. Hanging plants? He’s eager to touch the leaves and smell the dirt. A wand toy with a little fake bird on the end? He’s all in and ready to play — and he’ll even come over to let you know when it’s playtime again.
Have an older, grumpy resident cat? No worries. Halloween Wizard’s gentle, easygoing nature tends to win everyone over. He never hisses or puffs up; instead, he greets others with soft, friendly mews, and even the toughest cats seem to relax around him. Halloween Wizard has also previously done well around a dog and around children!
Looking for a lap companion? Halloween Wizard loves curling up on a warm lap or settling in close by, happily purring away.
Halloween Wizard does have a spinal deformity that gives him a slightly lopsided walk and limits his jumping ability. However, he uses the litter box without any trouble, eats well, and is an affectionate, loving companion who brings a lot of joy to those around him. Have any questions about Halloween Wizard’s condition? Just ask!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
For further information or to meet Halloween Wizard, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
