Trooper is a lovable adult German Shepherd who enjoys playing outside, going for walks, chewing on toy balls, and playing with other dogs and his human family - and as you can see he is adorable. He also likes belly rubs and lots of attention. Trooper becomes very attached to his human family and is protective.
Trooper has anxiety. General anxiety and fear of thunderstorms.
Trooper has lived with us for 5 months. The more attached he became to his home and new family, the less tolerant he grew of visitors in the home. He does well engaging with people outside the home, but is best suited for a living condition that limits his interaction with strangers in the house.
We don't have a lot of history on Trooper because he was a stray turned in to a local shelter.
He is truly a fantastic dog, but we've discovered that our home situation is not the best for Trooper - he needs a quieter home. We hope you'll consider welcoming this lovable dog into your home.
