My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oreo is a classic black-and-white tuxedo snack, but listen… this man has a very specific preference.

Women?
He does not see you. You are air. You are a faint breeze. You are the “skip intro” button on Netflix — useful, but not something he emotionally connects with. No beef. No fear. Just… neutrality. You are Switzerland. He is simply not moved.

But MEN?? Ohhhhh, the MEN.
He transforms into a love-sick Victorian poet. He will lean his head against a guy’s chest like he’s reenacting a movie poster, slow-blink like he’s writing a love ballad in his mind, and purr like he’s charging a Tesla.

Oreo is Yin and Yang in one feline masterpiece. Tuxedo formal on the outside. Frat-boy golden retriever affection on the inside. He's a tuxedo icon, grown adult of 3 years old, but still young enough to make questionable life choices. His personality is gentleman, charmer, and selectively affectionate. His hobbies include bro cuddles, lounging, completely ignoring women with dignity. His ideal home is with a guy seeking his feline life partner / wingman / emotional support buddy. He has mastered the litter box and won't damage the furniture. He's not sure how he feels about other cats, but who needs them anyway when you have the magnificent Oreo?

If you're a man looking for a cat who will treat you like the main character of a romance novel, Oreo is your guy. If you're a woman… you can still adopt him. Just know he will regard you as a set decoration.

Adopt Oreo. Bring balance. Bring harmony. Bring your boyfriend so he'll act interested. You can stop in anytime and visit him at County Lane Kennel in Troy.

Oreo tested negative for FeLV but positive for FIV. Cats with FIV can live long wonderful lives with other FIV positive cats and with non-FIV positive cats with proper acclimation.

You may apply to adopt Oreo at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Oreo is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $50. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.
