Sugar is a tiny lady with a massive heart. Her journey to us wasn't easy—she was rescued from a hotel room where she was heroically caring for her own two kittens plus four additional orphans she took in as a surrogate. After a lifetime of looking out for everyone else, Sugar is finally ready for someone to look out for her.
A Gentle Heart: While she can be a little shy in new environments, Sugar’s sweetness shines through quickly. She is a quiet companion who loves to be near her people.
Motivated by Love (and Snacks!): If you’re looking to win her over, the way to Sugar’s heart is definitely through her stomach! She’ll happily sit with you for a tasty treat and some quiet company.
The "Free Spirit" Spark: Underneath her petite and calm exterior is a cat who finally wants to stretch her legs. She’s looking for a home with plenty of room to run, play, and explore—allowing her true, spirited personality to bloom.
Sugar hasn't had the easiest start, but she doesn't let her past define her. She deserves a "happy new beginning" in a home that understands her initial shyness and is ready to reward her with the space and love she’s earned.

Download our questionnaire form and email or fax it (filled out, dated and signed). Or complete one in-person during our weekly events.
Interview
One of our volunteers will contact you in 24-48 hours to discuss your questionnaire and answer any questions you might have.
Approve Application
After your initial conversation, our volunteer will talk with your references and contact you for any clarification or further discussion.
Meet the Pet
Typically meet and greets take place during our weekly adoption events but sometimes they can happen in a foster home or at a special event.
Sign Adoption Contract
Initial all points and sign on our 1 page contract.
Pay Fee
Adoption fees range from $75-150, depending on the cat.
Take the Pet Home
Pose with your new family member for a "Happy Tails" photo before bringing them home.
