Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Naomi, a beautiful 1 year old kitty with a big personality and an inspiring story.
Naomi came into foster care as a tiny bottle baby alongside her brother, Johny, after they were found near some bushes in a park in Florence, Kentucky. While Johny found his forever home, Naomi’s journey took a bit of a detour—she was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) in January 2025 and needed to undergo a 3-month treatment. Thanks to the dedication of her medical team, Naomi is now fully recovered and has been cleared by her vet. After waiting an additional two months for her spay and final vaccines, she’s finally ready to find her forever family!
Naomi has a funny little habit of growling and grumbling when things don’t go her way—that’s just her way of “talking.” Despite the sass, she’s never shown any aggression and is very sweet.
She absolutely loves her morning Fancy Feast wet food and enjoys chattering at the birds outside the window. She gets along well with other cats and isn’t bothered by dogs, making her a great addition to a multi-pet household.
Naomi has been through a lot in her short life, and now she’s ready for the comfort and love of a forever home. Could she be the companion you’ve been looking for?
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
