Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: Chamberlain, SD
Tito is a beautiful, mixed breed female puppy who thrives on companionship. Tito is usually happy and enjoys playing with other dogs and getting attention from her people - she is a bit cautious around new people. As with many dogs, she does a "happy dance" when her people come home or she is let out of her crate.
Like any curious puppy, Tito has a knack for turning anything into a toy— squeak or chew toys, a Jones bone, discarded cardboard boxes, patient dogs, or even the occasional unattended shoe! Her playful antics are sure to keep you smiling – most of the time.
She is excited to go for walks but sometimes gets nervous about unfamiliar sounds. After walking with another dog, even one less confident than her, she is much more confident – they walk side-by-side, her tail is up and she is busy watching! Recently she was the only dog and made it all the way! Of course she may have some anxiety at first in a new situation. She is becoming more comfortable with visiting pet friendly businesses. If we have to wait in line, she lies down and takes a break. When traveling any distance, she rides in her crate and passes time by napping.
Tito is working on her house training. She almost always takes care of business outside but does have an occasional accident indoors—usually when her humans miss her cues or she is having too much fun to ask to go outside. She’s learning to communicate her needs well, especially from her crate, she whines or barks to let you know it’s time for a potty break and a drink of water from the big bucket. When she makes noise while in her crate, she is taken outside and almost always makes use of the opportunity. We often stand with her remind her to “Go Potty” and she attends to business and then may hustle off to attempt to play with another dog.
Tito has discovered human beds and appreciates being able to snuggle and nap next to a human. After giving a couple of cold kisses, she stands next to the person and then drops down and promptly falls asleep. She will sleep through the night and not need to go out. She probably would be very happy to have a home with someone who wanted to share a bed with her. She also enjoys morning belly rubs and has a sleek, smooth, and soft coat.
Tito is blossoming into a curious, energetic, joyful companion. She’s ready to bring her energy, affection and puppy charm into a forever home. At this point in her life, she likes nipping the other dogs' ears and hind legs so she might do better in a home with a confident dog about her size or larger or possibly would do quite well as an only dog. We are noticing some maturity, she will sometimes just lie down and take a break much as a more mature dog might do. She recently spent two nights in a temporary foster home and adjusted well. She was happy to see familiar people when she returned.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
