My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET THE CONSTELLATIONS!!

These cuties joined POUNCE when their mama was found heavily pregnant by a Good Samaritan. Mama Ara ended up giving birth while they were seeking rescue placement for her.

Along came POUNCE foster parent Amanda, who heard about her through the vet clinic she works at. Amanda’s last fosters had just flown the coop and she was ready to take on more felines in need. She reached out to see if we could provide the financial support and of course we said yes!

Mama Ara is just a kitten herself at estimated maybe a year old. She loves her babies so much and is bonded with Lynx so will need to be adopted with him!

Any of the babies would also love to go in pairs!

Ara is a young mama with a soft heart and a playful spirit. Though she may be a little shy at first, she quickly blossoms into a loving, affectionate companion once she feels safe. She adores her babies and is often seen playing and tumbling around with them, showing off her youthful energy and sweet nature. Ara is a big fan of wand toys and loves interactive playtime. When she’s not chasing toys or mothering her kittens, she’ll wind between your legs, purring and asking for gentle pets. With time and trust, she’ll happily flop over for belly rubs and more snuggles. Ara is a true sweetheart who deserves all the love in the world.

Transport is available to approved adopters throughout the PNW!

Each kitten and Ara comes spayed/neutered, microchipped (including registration), and up to date on vaccines/deworming. Ara is around a year old and the kittens date of birth is 4/8/25. Ara’s adoption fee is $85, kitten adoption fees are $150 or $225 for a pair of kittens. For mama Ara and a kitten, the adoption fee is $195.

Thanks for checking out the constellations!!!

Additional adoption info

How it works-

If you are interested in adopting with us, the first step is an application. We will call two personal references and a veterinary reference (if applicable). The next step is a home check which can be done via sending in a video, or at the time we bring the animal over for a meet and greet.

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility or hours of operation. To meet available cats or kittens, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Once approved, a meet and greet can be arranged!

More about this rescue

The POUNCE Alliance is a federally licensed 501c3 non profit, feline focused, foster based animal rescue. We heavily focus on TNR (trap-neuter-return) of feral cat colonies to minimize the number of felines born outdoors without proper resources to live and thrive. Thousands of cats are born outdoors every year in our community and the focus of POUNCE is to combat the issue with spay/neuter, vaccinations, and medical treatment. With TNR comes many found kittens, tame cats, and sickly community cats who we cannot ethically return back to their home. This is why POUNCE also has a foster and adoption program for adoptable and "hospice" cases who are either tame or are too fragile to return to the outdoors.
