Sirena is a beautiful black girl, nearly 2yo. She is a calm, quiet, low maintenance girl who enjoys getting pets from people that she trusts. Every time we pet her, her butt goes in the air like a little elevator heading for the top floor!
Sirena does not like to get picked up, but she definitely could become a laptop on her own terms once she has a bond with someone and feel safe. She also gets along with other cats well, if introduced properly.
She is on the shy side, so a quiet home would be best for her. Sirena has been at the shelter for many months now and she really deserves a good home!
She is spayed and vaccinated and applications are being accepted at www.jellysplace.org.

Adoption process requires an interview with adopter, ad adoption agreement, plus spay/neuter deposit if animal is not spayed/neutered.

Senior cats 7 years and older: $75
Dogs and puppies: $350-1200 depending on breed

More about this shelter

Jelly's Place is a rescue and No-kill shelter founded in 2017 to be an advocate for the lives and dignity of urban animals who are homeless, abandoned, impounded, sick, or injured, by providing responsible care, placement, and community education. Its founder, Julie Bainbridge, has been rescuing and fostering animals since childhood. She has rescued, fostered, and /or raised all kinds of animals, including baby squirrels, raccoons, pigeons, chickens, geese, ducks, skunks (yes- skunks), wild and tropical birds, pigmey goats, mice, snakes, rabbits, dogs, and cats. Some animals are cared for by volunteers in their homes.
Jelly's Place is named in memory of her beloved English Bulldog who crossed over the Rainbow bridge in 2016. Jelly's Place is a 501 (3)(c) nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible.
Jelly's Place depends on donations, grants, and volunteers to foster and care for animals.
