Gilmore is a sweet, loving cat that I adopted on this site in Jan 2024. I have a 14 yr old Jack Russell Terrier that he gets along fine with, and I am also a pet sitter and have many other small dogs that he is very good with as long as they leave him alone. Over the last 2 weeks, he has attacked 2 dogs, unprovoked. Both were a little larger than him, and had a very playful energy. All they did was run past him. He has been completely fine with all of the other dogs that have visited. So he gets along with MOST dogs. But he is not a good match to live with high energy dogs.
If you have a low energy, or older dog, he would be fine. He was an indoor/outdoor cat before, but here only inside.Loves our screened in porch especially in hot weather. He would love to be an indoor/outdoor cat again,I'm sure, if he found a place to live where that would be safe. Here it is not, so I must keep him inside.
