Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Comet!
One of the shining stars from the Space Litter, Comet is a 9-month-old, 6-pound domestic shorthair kitten with a soft greyish-brown coat and a heart full of sweetness. While she may be a bit shy at first, once she feels safe and settled, her gentle, affectionate personality truly shines.
Comet is a certified cuddle expert who loves attention—especially belly rubs and scritches! Her purrs are loud, proud, and often. Once you’re in her circle, she’ll happily come to you for love. This little baker loves to make biscuits when she's around you!
✨ Comet’s Favorite Things:
Sparkly pom pom balls (non-negotiable favorite 😅)
Playing fetch with her pom poms—her bedtime routine with her foster mom
Chasing bouncy balls around the room and all sorts of teasing toys
Cat tree lounging and napping like a little queen
Mealtime—she enjoys both canned and dry food, plus treats, of course!
She’s a medium-energy kitten who’s easy to care for, potty trained, and great with people of all ages in her foster home. Comet would thrive in a quieter household and would do especially well with gentle kids or calm companions.
If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and affectionate kitten with just the right amount of sparkle—Comet could be your perfect match. 🌟
Comet is fostered in the Cincinnati area.
Kittens are only adopted in pairs or to homes with other friendly, social pets. They are very social by nature and need to be with other pets for their socialization.
Comet's adoption fee is $75. To adopt this pet, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. All adults are combo tested; for some litters of kittens who have not been exposed to other cats, only one kitten in the litter may be tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and helps us continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the pet you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
