Friendly - Curious - Laid Back -Anxious

Midge is a sweet and warm-hearted old girl. We’re not quite sure of her age, but can tell she’s had a bit of life-experience from her curious personality. She can keep herself content independently but isn’t afraid to indicate when she’d like some attention. She’ll push her head into your hand when she’d like some pets.

She was a success at her last vet visit. Although an x-ray indicated all her organs align on her right side, there is no impairment on her mobility or health. She has enjoyed being in foster care with other cats and no children. Her loving and affectionate personality shines when she knows where her space in the home is and she is ready for some cuddles a few days after she moves in.

Our adoptions coordinator will verify your application information, and someone from our team will meet with you at the lounge to introduce you to your potential forever friend. We adopt out based on the best match for pets, not on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The lounge, located on 117 Edgewood Ave, is open for public walk-in hours on Friday to Sunday, from 3pm to 8pm.

Rescue and Relax is a Pittsburgh nonprofit animal rescue. We operate with a dedicated group of volunteers and foster homes, caring for homeless animals from across Western Pennsylvania until they can be placed in loving forever homes. Our cat lounge is home to between 15 and 20 adoptable cats at a time.
