Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Turtle is a sweet and fun-loving 4 to 5-month-old puppy. We thinks she's likely a small Beagle mix, currently weighing around 12 pounds. She’s fully vetted, spayed, and ready to find her forever family.
Turtle has been an absolute joy in her foster home, living with young kids, another dog, and lots of activity. She loves playing fetch, curling up for cuddles, and charming everyone she meets. She’s not mouthy, sleeps through the night in her crate, and with a routine is doing great with house training in her fenced yard.
Turtle’s also learning to walk nicely on leash, with help from her foster dog sibling. Turtle is the kind of puppy who would fit beautifully into almost any home. She's smart, sweet, and full of love. Whoever adopts her will be getting a very special little dog, and her foster family hopes to stay in touch with the lucky family who gets to call her theirs.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications!
2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better.
3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.)
4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees! This is a polite reminder that we are doing our best to make the right decisions for the animals in our care. Thank you.
