Mittens is a 1-year-old Siberian Husky mix with big cartoon eyes and an even bigger heart! She came to us with her two brothers (both now adopted), and while the shelter environment was overwhelming for her, she’s been thriving in a loving foster home. Mittens is a sweet, medium-sized girl who gets along great with dogs of all sizes, loves cats, and is good with kids. She’s crate trained, about 90% house trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She knows “sit,” doesn’t counter surf, enjoys car rides, and doesn’t get into anything when left out. While she has a little bit of that classic Husky sass (just 20% talker!), she’s mostly calm and well-mannered. Mittens loves being outside and running like the wind, and she’s learning that outings and new places don’t have to be scary. She would do best in a home that offers love, structure, and a calm space to retreat to when things feel overwhelming. And yes—when she’s excited, she does the cutest little “pretty feet” dance you’ve ever seen! If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion with a gentle soul and a touch of Husky personality, Mittens may be your perfect match.
