Romy, a 1.5-year-old female Malinois in Northern Michigan, seeks a breed savvy and working home with no small children. This HIGH-DRIVE Malinois is always ready to roll, with a serious obbession for balls. Proper introductions are necessary for interactions with other dogs. She does like to play a little rough. She has a strong prey drive, so small animals need care supervision. Romy's got basic obedience down, is crate trained, and very focused on her handler. She'd thrive in agility, fast care, advanced obedience, or dock diving. See videos on the MAD face book page! Romy is a diamond waiting to shine.

After a successful Home Visit the applicant is eligible to review available dogs and talk to state coordinators about making a good match.

Mission Statemet
Malinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue, Inc. (MAD) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which is dedicated to rescuing Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds who have found themselves without a home (surrendered, discarded, abused, neglected or impounded). MAD does not have a physical location and is operated by compassionate, like-minded professionals who volunteer their time and resources to help save and care for the Malinois and Dutch Shepherds. All animals that are accepted by MAD are spayed or neutered, given medical attention and rehabilitation, as needed, and placed with foster homes until their health and evaluations are completed and they are ready to be placed in their loving permanent homes.
