Meet Cooper — Your Next Adventure Buddy!
Cooper is an almost 2-year-old neutered shepherd/malinois mix with a heart full of enthusiasm and a brain that never stops buzzing! This handsome guy is incredibly smart and thrives when he has a job to do. A fenced-in yard where he can run, play fetch, and burn off energy — or activities that challenge both his body and mind — would make him one happy pup.
Cooper is full of zest for life and is still learning how to channel all that excitement into good choices. He’ll need a committed home ready to continue helping him with impulse control using positive reinforcement. The good news? He’s a quick learner!
A few things Cooper loves:
• Fetch — this boy will chase a ball all day!
• Chewing on a Nylabone
• Being with his person
• Having structure and purpose
He’s housetrained, smart as a whip, and happiest when he’s part of the action. Cooper isn’t fond of being left alone, but he does well in a secure crate where he feels safe. He’d be the perfect match for someone who works from home or can take him along for the ride.
Cooper shines with younger pups — both male and female — but can be unsure around larger, more dominant dogs. Because of his drive and enthusiasm, we recommend no young kids. An active, experienced home that understands high-drive dogs would set him up for success.
At the end of the day, after all the fun and adventure, Cooper just wants to curl up at your feet or snuggle by your side, dreaming of what tomorrow will bring.
If you’re looking for a loyal, eager-to-please companion with tons of potential, Cooper might be your perfect match.
