This special little one year old chihuahua is called Magic Maude. And especially sensitive little girl, that somehow got just a little too round and is on a dedicated exercise in nutrition program to drop some weight. Currently, she is eighteen pounds and we field that she would be best to be in the ten to twelve pound range as a goal. She originally was in a chaotic home that animal control had to step in and take away 112 chihuahuas that we're living in the home. An unfathomable amount of dogs that were not altered, but yet healthy. When mod came to our rescue and was put in a foster home. She lay there in her crate for days very depressed and emotionally unresponsive. She barely moved from the one spot she lay in. Eventually, after almost two weeks, she perked up with the company of few other chihuahuas coming to join her in her large crate. Soon she was going on walks with the foster. Mom and seemed to enjoy the freedom of being outside, taking in all the new sights and sounds of the neighborhood. We know she had never been leash walked due to the overcrowding at her original home. This girl is spayed and healthy and ready to start all over again. She wants love and we promised her a great family who will love her and take her for walks and treat her like the Magic Maude that she is. She is currently in Nashville, Tennessee, and can be transported to the northeast region as well. Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you want to adopt or know more.
PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region. Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.
