Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fuchsia is a beautiful kitty with a sleek, black coat. Our vet estimates that she is around two years old. Fuchsia can be a little nervous with new people or loud noises. However, she warms up quickly and enjoys being patted. She does very well with other cats and has welcomed many cats to our cage-free room over the last few months, including Bear, pictured here, who had never lived with another cat, but seemed to understand she was a friend. Fuchsia has been diagnosed with epilepsy and must take medication twice a day. She has not had any seizures since starting on the medication. She is looking for an adopter who is comfortable giving oral medication (she is very good about it) and is willing to provide her with regular vet care to monitor her health. This girl has a lot of love to give! She is spayed and fully vetted.
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat.
If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting.
If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours.
All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
