Big Boi, almost 4, came to us in 2024 along with his step sister, both surrendered after spending their lives in a caring home. Sadly their human, who had long been involved in local rescue, became ill and had to surrender her two adult cats. Understandably, Big Boi struggled to adapt to the Cat Shed and for several months, was a bit of a grey ghost - preferring the quieter, darker corners of the shelter. He has since begun to interact with volunteers and while still a little shy, is a warm and gentle giant. Big Boi would benefit greatly from once again, having a home of his own, a kind human could help him regain his sense of security.
We call him the gentle giant, he is so affectionate and gets along well with the other cats.
