Meet Belinda 🩷 | Foster Needed

Belinda is a petite, young pup who came to us from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. She had been confined in a small, filthy outdoor pen with little to no access to clean water, food, or meaningful interaction with people or other dogs. She lived surrounded by waste, without ever being given the chance to truly live.

When we rescued Belinda, she was scared but never aggressive—just desperate to escape the life she’d known. Since arriving at our boarding partner, she’s already begun to show signs of hope and progress. While still nervous, she follows her human friends with quiet curiosity, watching their every move and slowly realizing she might finally be safe.

Because of her isolated past, Belinda can be unsure around other dogs and may act defensively at first. But if they respect her space, she learns to trust—and often ends up following them around, using their confidence as a guide to navigate this new world.

Belinda is ready for her next big step: a foster home. Boarding has given her safety and structure, but nothing compares to the healing that happens in a real home. A foster environment will help her grow in ways that boarding simply can’t—and it will give her the best chance at finding her forever family.
