My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Teeter—named after my signature wobble (long story, 10/10 recovery, no regrets). I used to be a bit banged up, but now I’m fully healed and back to living my best, most fabulous life. I walk with a little flair now. It’s not a limp, it’s a strut.

I’m sweet as whipped cream, playful as a toddler on espresso, and I believe every object is a toy until proven otherwise. String? Toy. Your sock? Toy. That one thing you told me not to touch? Definitely a toy.

I live for wet food. Crack that can open and I will appear like a furry summoning spell. I’ve also been known to throw a dramatic flop at your feet if snacks aren’t delivered fast enough. You’ve been warned.  Other cats? LOVE ‘em. If you’ve got friendly felines, I’m the life of the (gentle, dignified) kitty party. I’ll chase, cuddle, and team up for coordinated zoomies.

So if you're looking for a resilient, joyful little chaos goblin with a heart of gold, an Olympic-level purr, and a deep commitment to canned cuisine—let’s talk.

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
