My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grump came to us. This boy is all male cat with all the personality you'd expect. He was eating in a colony and one day decided to approach for treats out of feeders hand. He gained his name because once inside he let it be known when he did not like something. He'd grumble! Since he has been with us he has completely adjusted to the good things in life and being indoors. Grump LOVES attention and will chill in your lap, purring away with eyes closed. He is extremely affectionate yet also can be very curious and independent. Grump does have a catitude. He plays a bit rough with other cats and dogs at times and when introduced he goes towards them to give them a good smack just because... He needs slow introductions! Because he is a bit dominant, if children in home must be older and understand boundaries. Grumps is everything wrapped up in one. Playful, affectionate, independent, very loving and loyal with a strong personality.

He has been fully vetted, FIV/FELV negative, neutered and microchipped.

More about this rescue

We are a NJ nonprofit completely run by dedicated volunteers. We do everything possible to educate the public about the importance of neuter/spay, TNR to keep colonies under control, and find great homes for the adoptable pets in need. We work with our adopters after adoption to make sure both family members, human and furry, are happy and adjusted.
