My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Diesel West– Your New Built-In Best Friend!
🚗💨 1 Year Old | 16 lbs | Terrier Mix

Rev up your heart, because Diesel is ready to zoom his way right into your life! This adorable scruffy-faced boy may have started out as a stray, but he’s left that life in the dust and is now all about snuggles, zoomies, and soaking up love.

Diesel is a cuddle monster with a playful streak – he’ll race around the yard like a pro and then curl up beside you like the sweetest lap warmer. He’s a total toy enthusiast (okay, maybe a little too enthusiastic sometimes!), so he’ll need a confident and patient adopter to help him learn that sharing can be caring.

He’d thrive in a home where he’s the only pet—after all, Diesel believes he should be the center of your world (and honestly, he’s got the charm to pull it off). A calm household with older kids or adults only is best, where he can enjoy his toys and training in peace.

Diesel is doing well on leash and lives for grassy strolls. Potty training? He’s working hard and making daily progress—just needs someone to keep up the routine and cheer him on.

So if you’re looking for a loyal little shadow with a spunky heart and big dreams of being your one-and-only, Diesel’s your guy. Come meet him and feel the puppy power for yourself!

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
