Meet Stevie & Nicks – A Bonded Rock ‘n’ Roll Duo Full of Heart!
Stevie (female) & Nicks (male)
Introducing Stevie and Nicks—an inseparable sibling pair named after their foster mom’s favorite musical duo, and just like their namesakes, they’re full of soul and personality!
Nicks is a proud FIP warrior, having overcome his illness with strength and resilience. By his side every step of the way was his devoted sister, Stevie—his constant source of comfort and love. Their bond is deep, their connection unshakable, and now they’re ready to find a forever home together.
Stevie is the gentle, observant one who blossoms with time and trust. She looks to her brother for cues and security and, once she feels safe, reveals her sweet and affectionate nature. Nicks is the confident explorer—playful, curious, and always the first to greet new experiences. He brings the party, she brings the calm—they're the perfect harmony.
These two love snuggles, pets, and being close to their people. They get along well with other cats and respectful dogs, and would thrive in a calm home with older kids (13+) who understand gentle boundaries—especially since Nicks sometimes gives little love nips when he’s extra excited for attention.
If you're ready to add a bonded duo with heart, history, and a whole lot of love to give, Stevie and Nicks are ready to rock your world.
Stevie and Nicks are currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting them, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
