My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Finn, a handsome and sweet medium-sized pup (around 45 lbs) born on November 1st, 2023. While we're playing the guessing game on his breed (maybe a Border Collie mix?), his wonderful personality is crystal clear!
💖 And get this – Finn has a SECRET ADMIRER! This amazing person has gifted him an incredible adoption starter kit that includes:
* A comfy Martingale collar for safe walks
* A sturdy leash for adventures
* A seatbelt to keep him secure on car rides
* SIX MONTHS of heartworm prevention to keep him healthy!
But wait, there's more! Finn has just embarked on an amazing journey. He's a graduate from the SWATT program at Shawnee Correctional Center! Over 12 weeks, Finn worked with dedicated handlers to learn all his basic commands and so much more. He's now more prepared to become a wonderful companion in his forever home!

Finn and his siblings came to us needing a some extra TLC after their previous owner could no longer care for them. This means Finn is a bit timid at first, but trust us, beneath that shyness is a loving heart just waiting to blossom with patience, gentle attention, and lots of love.

We've also heard through the grapevine that this charming boy has a soft spot for cheese and hotdogs – the way to his heart might just be through his stomach! 😉 He also loves to be close to his people, so he's looking for a home where he can be a cherished member of the family.
Could you be the one to give Finn the loving and patient forever home he deserves? This special boy will come to you with a wonderful foundation of training thanks to the SWATT program and a great started kit #SecretAdmirer
If you have a gentle heart and room in your life to help a truly special dog to blossom, please reach out to learn more about adopting Finn! ❤️
