Basil is a 3–4-month-old lab mix puppy with big, soulful eyes and an even bigger heart. He’s sweet, snuggly, and would happily curl up in your lap—if he didn’t occasionally forget how big his paws are.
Though he leans into the cuddle bug life, Basil still has all the playful energy you’d expect from a young pup. He’ll need adopters who are ready to help him with crate training, housebreaking, and early socialization to help him grow into a confident, happy adult dog.
If you’re looking for a loving little shadow who will be your nap buddy and your adventure pal, Basil is ready to meet you!
His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip, and age appropriate vaccinations.

Dog Town Rescue's standard adoption fees range from $250-$450, depending on the age, size and type of an individual dog.
There is an adoption application and contract required. Landlord references are checked for any restrictions for potential adopters who rent, as are vet references.
Resident animals should be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations, unless there is a medical reason.
A dog meet with be required with any resident dogs to ensure it is a good match and all children ages 12 and under should also come meet the potential new dog.

Dog Town is a doggy daycare, boarding and grooming facility in Montgomery County, PA. We also now have rescue dogs that we house and care for until they are adopted. Most of our dogs are at high risk of euthanasia and come directly from local Philadelphia are shelters.
