Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Aarti was found as a stray with a badly broken leg. She was mostly feral and scared of humans. Since then, we have gotten her leg amputated. She is doing much better with people. She does still hide from strangers and will need to be kept in a single room for a week or so. She loves to have her stomach rubbed and her chin scratched. She enjoys a can of wet food every day. She likes to just lay on her kitty bed and be pet.
She would love a person with no other pets who could just dote on her. We say she needs an experienced adopter because the initial hiss can be scary, but she really does warm up within seconds.
