Lucy is a sweet and loving 15-year-young cat who has spent her whole life as a cherished companion. Adopted as a kitten from Camp Companion, she’s known nothing but the quiet comfort of a calm home filled with love. Sadly, her beloved person is moving into assisted living, and Lucy can’t go with him — so she’s looking for a new soft place to land.
Lucy has always lived in peaceful environments with middle-aged and elderly people, and she thrives in the gentle routine of a calm home. Loud noises, children, or too much activity overwhelm her, so she’s searching for a quiet, adult-only space where she can feel safe and loved.
This dignified lady still has plenty of affection to give and would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a quiet, devoted feline friend. Lucy just wants a warm lap, a soft bed, and someone to share her golden years with.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
