Meet Esme – The Resilient Princess Looking for Her Fairytale Ending 👑🐾

Esme’s journey hasn’t been easy, but this sweet girl has never stopped fighting for her chance at a better life. She came to us after being surrendered by her former owners, who had sadly left her to live alone in a yard, often forgotten without proper food, love, or care.

Some time ago, Esme suffered a traumatic injury when she was attacked by a larger dog in the home. She was bitten on the head and left without medical attention, resulting in neurological challenges that affected her ability to walk. At one point, she couldn’t even stand. But Esme, full of heart and determination, taught herself to walk again. 🩷

A kind-hearted Good Samaritan convinced her owners to surrender her—and that’s when Esme’s new chapter began. We made sure her mobility wasn’t due to a bone injury, and after thorough X-rays and consultation with a radiologist, it was confirmed: her bones are just fine! Her unique little walk is purely neurological—and completely endearing.

Despite it all, Esme gets around great, loves to go on short walks, and still enjoys playing like any other pup. Her spirit is unbreakable, and her gentle, loving personality shines brighter every day.
