Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Champ came into the shelter in horrible shape. He was very underweight at around 35 pounds, and had lost most of his hair due to a flea infestation. He's now been started on a flea preventative, and is getting regular meals, so he's looking and feeling much better. He's up to a happy and healthy 50 pounds, and his hair has grown back beautifully. He's around 4 years old, neutered, and Heartworm Negative. He's vaccinated with Distemper, Bordatella, and Rabies. Despite being neglected at best, and abused at worst, Champ is a sweetheart. He loves people, gets along with the other dogs, and is respectful to the cats. If he had to choose between spending time with people or dogs, he'd choose people every time, especially if they have treats lol, so he'd happily be in a family with or without other dogs. He's more of an introvert, so if he's going into a home with another dog, a considerate dog would make the best playmate for him. He recently had a playdate in a home, and he did great with their cats and dog. He also stayed overnight, and slept through the night, uncrated, without having any accidents. He's definitely a cuddler, and wants to follow his person everywhere. This friendly boy is ready to be in a home, getting the care and love that he deserves.
