BONNEY NEEDS A HOME!!

Bonney is a playful, curious 4-month-old puppy with a big personality in a small 9-pound body. She absolutely loves her toys, especially a little plush ball (technically a cat toy) that she’ll toss around and play with all by herself for ages.

Thanks to her time in foster care, Bonney is well socialized and comfortable around both people and other dogs. After a fun play session, she’s more than happy to snuggle up for some cozy downtime.

While her exact mix isn’t known, Bonney appears to be part Smooth Fox Terrier and part Cocker Spaniel, with some Beagle in the mix.

Bonney was rescued by K-9 Unity Express, a nonprofit that pulls adoptable dogs from the overcrowded Bakersfield shelter and transports them to rescues across California, where they have a better chance of finding homes. She’s now available for adoption at Shelter Hope.

She’s spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever family. Bonney has shown nothing but sweetness, resilience, and a joyful spirit, and she’s ready to bring that energy into a loving home.
