My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loving, Independent, Calm

Meet Ozzette!

The sweetest queen bee you’ll ever meet! Ozzette may have a slight preference to be the only pet in the house, but that’s just because she loves her people and wants to be the center of attention. She likes to follow her family from room to room, although she doesn’t cling too much - she’ll lay beside you on the couch or follow you to bed, but finds her own space before too long. And she’s a talker, letting you know when she needs something! We love a cat with strong boundaries and communication skills.

Ozzette is an older gal with diabetes; she receives insulin twice a day and is very easy-going about it! Make sure she gets her insulin and eats the proper amount of food (no worries, she won’t let you forget that it’s mealtime!), and check her glucose levels periodically to make sure everything continues to be stable. She’s actually pretty low-maintenance! For more information, please contact APA.

Ozzette is going to be the perfect companion with someone looking for a loving-but-not-velcro cat. She’s calm and relaxed (although she still enjoys a laser toy from time to time!) and her main priority is spending time near her humans. She generally keeps the peace with other pets even though it isn’t her first choice - the primary time she has any stronger opinions is at meal times. She also gets along with the older kids she has met!

Ozzette is confident and a total sweetheart who will bring a ton of peace and happiness to her future home. If she sounds like the cat for you, email us today to learn more and to meet this beautiful and floofy girl!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
