Hi! My name is Pickle! I am about 3 years old and came to Paws when I was surrendered to a local emergency hospital because my owners couldn’t afford life saving surgery. Paws stepped in so I could have a chance at living! I am fully recovered now and ready to find my new forever home! I'm a cuddly, big boned boy who loves scratches and rolling around on the ground. I have a very unique, conversational meow and love to talk over breakfast. Don't let my size fool you, I still love to run and play, but my favorite thing is head scratches. I've lived with other cats and am friendly with all adults I've met in my foster home. Kids stress me out, so I’d probably do best in a home without small children. Because of my surgery, I do need to eat a special food, at least for now. I really want to find my new best friend and my forever home - will it be you?

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

Home Check

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
