My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mikey is a 35-lb, 1-year-old affectionate boy who loves cuddles, attention, kisses, playing outdoors, and fetch. He is a loving dog who bonds deeply with his people. He does well with children and with non-aggressive dogs. With unfamiliar adults, he may be wary at first, but with time he can learn to trust and build connection.

Mikey needs continued socialization and leash training. In new environments, he becomes anxious and may act defensively until he feels safe. Because of this, he needs an experienced, patient owner who understands anxiety-based behavior.

Mikey grew up with his best friend Ana and did well with a cat named Boar as a puppy. He was adopted once, but due to anxiety and not eating, he returned home. I am moving and living on the road and want a stable, permanent home for him. Are you the fur parent who can give him what he needs?
