Matilda (aka Tilly) is looking for her forever home!
Tilly is a six-year-old terrier mix with a big personality and bigger heart! Built like a little tank, she’s the perfect blend of sturdy and snuggly. She loves her people fiercely; is loyal, affectionate, and always ready to press in for a cuddle.
Tilly is wonderful with kids and a professional snuggler. She walks beautifully on a leash and is always up for a nice stroll or a car ride. Have errands to run? She'll tag along! She's always trying to hop into her fosters car for a spin.
Tilly would prefer to be the only pet at home but would consider a gentle dog friend with the right introduction. She wants all the love for herself (but gives it back tenfold)!

Our adoption process begins with an application! Once we receive your application, we will get started on completing a vet reference (if applicable) & landlord check (if applicable). Once those steps are complete, we will schedule a time to talk to you on the phone about what you are looking for & we will suggest some of the animals in our care that could be a match for your lifestyle! If you’ve applied for a specific animal, we will discuss them & work together to determine if this is the right fit for your lifestyle.

Wiggles Way Rescue was founded in 2025 to fill a gap in the DMV rescue community by focusing on middle-aged & senior Pit-Bull-type dogs at the Prince George's County Animal Shelter - one of the last localities across the United States with an active Pit Bull ban.
Wiggles Way operates based on 5 guiding principles: Fiscal Responsibility, Transparency, Communication, Appreciation, & Quality over Quantity. We believe in a rescue that supports & appreciates their invaluable volunteers while also maintaining realistic expectations for our operating capacity. This ensures that we can provide high-quality care to all of our volunteers & animals in the Wiggles Way family.
