My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blue loves to play with toys, going for walks and taking naps. He seems to get along well with other dogs and shows no interest in our pet cat. We have crate trained him, but he may need some work on house training. I have not seen how he would interact with children, but he is very friendly with every person he meets. Blue is a very sweet boy who deserves a loving family. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Blue is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.June 22, 2025, 12:36 pm

More about this rescue

Our goal is to save dogs at the local shelters in the Dallas \ Fort Worth Metroplex from euthanasia and adopt them to the public. We spay / neuter these dogs as well as provide all necessary medical care. We also educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We love dogs and our goal is to reduce / eliminate euthanisias being done in this area by shelters due to overcrowding.
