Our dear sweet houndy girl finds herself once again, looking for a forever home.

We first saved this little girl along with her mom and brother when she was only two weeks old and facing down landfall of hurricane Helene.

This sweet girl was adopted into a family, but unfortunately as she has gotten bigger the adult dogs in the home (who are double and triple her size) are finding that they don’t appreciate her playful energy. Out of an abundance of caution for her safety, her family asked us to take her back.

Hannah is a 10 months old, 36lbs, Foxhound mix. Hannah is house trained and crate trained, but would really prefer to just snuggle with her people and not be crated. She has not been destructive when left alone.
She is current on all vaccinations, spayed, and heartworm negative. She does well with dogs of all sizes, but would appreciate a slow introduction. Hannah does not like being charged by unfamiliar dogs. Hannah is kid friendly, and would be eager to have a lap to snuggle on. Because of the very recent changes in her living situation, she’s a little timid upon first meeting, but will be your Bestie in just a matter of days.

Hannah could use some work on leash skills, because like all good hounds she just cannot resist a good smell. She does fine in a car. Shelly is currently fostered in Cirtus Springs, Fl.
