"The love of a dog is a pure thing." This makes us think of Apollo, who has a heart full of love to share with his new family!
Why we love him: Apollo is as sweet as he is handsome, and that is saying a lot! His snow white coat has beautiful orange markings, and his warm brown eyes reflect his joy for life. Apollo also has the cutest doggy smile! He is two years old and weighs 45 pounds, so Apollo is a great choice if you want to adopt a medium sized dog.
One of our volunteers says: "Apollo is ready to rocket into your heart! Sweet, cuddly, and both dog and child friendly, Apollo also has plenty of playful energy. He would thrive with a fenced yard where he can zoom around or with an active person who will make sure his exercise needs are met. After a fun day of play, Apollo is more than happy to snuggle up and be your loyal co-pilot. Could this shining star be the one for you?"
Apollo is a delightful, active, good natured dog who totally enjoys your company! He looks forward to his daily walks and loves to explore the beautiful trails on our shelter grounds. He has such fun jogging and will make a fun hiking or running buddy, too.
Apollo also likes to run and play in the fenced yard. He has a great time with the toys and is so agile and athletic. He also loves play dates with his favorite shelter companions. If you have anther dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.
Apollo is such a happy-go-lucky dog who will jump for joy! He is truly a cheerful presence!
Apollo enjoys being petted and is such a congenial companion! He is also a fine cuddle buddy! We enjoy spending time with this special dog!
Apollo enjoys hanging out in the office with our Animal Control Officers. He loves sitting on the dog bed and playing with a ball or standing at the gate watching all the people go by.
Apollo wants to please and should master any commands you wish to teach him. He has already learned sit and wait.
Lucky Apollo had an outing with one of our volunteers who reports: "Took wonderful Apollo to Burns Park and could not have asked for a sweeter dog. He was so calm and didn’t bark at anyone or anything. He enjoyed a pup cup, too."
Apollo will be such a fun and loyal family dog! He is the best!
